π Dress Code
It is a temple, so please dress respectfully. Cover your shoulders and knees. However, it is outdoors, so wear breathable fabrics.
βοΈ Beat the Heat
There is very little shade near the big statue. The best time to visit is early morning (8:00 - 10:00 AM) or late afternoon.
Why hire a taxi to the temple?
No Public Transport
The temple is located deep inland. There are no Sangtaews (Green Bus) that go there directly.
Hard to get back
Getting a Grab TO the temple is easy, but getting one BACK is very difficult as drivers don't wait around that area.
Family Friendly
It's a large complex. Having a private car means you can keep your elderly parents or kids cool in the AC right until you reach the entrance.

Don't miss walking under the belly of the giant three-headed wooden elephants for good luck!
