To see the famous light beam hitting the pavilion, you must be inside the cave between 10:30 AM and 11:30 AM. We generally pick you up at 08:30 AM to make this time.
π¦ Mosquito Warning
The mangrove forest near the entrance has many mosquitoes. Please bring repellent. Also wear sneakers, not flip-flops, for the hike.
Highlights of the Trip
The Royal Pavilion
See the "Kuhu Karuhas" pavilion, built in 1890 for King Rama V. It is the symbol of Prachuap Khiri Khan province.
Hiking Adventure
The cave requires a 430m hike up the mountain. It's a bit steep but well worth the effort. (Boat option available for the first leg).
Magical Light
The best time to visit is 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM when the sun shines directly onto the pavilion.
